Summer Skincare
This summer has been a HOT one. Maybe, it’s because I’m 8 months pregnant but the heat seems to be on a different level this year. Living in Florida I try to avoid wearing makeup as much as possible in the summer to limit breakouts and just give my skin a break during the high humidity days. Thankfully, being able to work from home right now allows me to have more makeup-free days, and let me tell you it’s been amazing for my skin! I still like to have a little something on my face and the Tula combo below has been my go-to summer favorite to keep my skin fresh and glowing without any makeup (I follow the same routine on days where I wear full coverage makeup). I love Tula products because you get high quality for affordable prices and they work to restore the natural balance of your skin.
I love this light but effective facial cleanser that is packed with superfood and probiotics. It leaves your face feeling super refreshed and I’m a huge fan of anything that contains turmeric to help with inflammation.
This hydrating cream that you can use day and night is definitely one of my new favorites this summer. I really struggled in the past to find a moisturizer that would give my dry skin enough moisture with out feeling too heavy. This moisturizer will leave your skin glowing with out all the heaviness of normal creams. I also love that you can use it both day and night so you don’t have to buy multiple products.
Rose Glow Brightening & Cooling Eye Balm
This is by far one of my favorites from the Tula product line. I can’t leave the house in the morning without this magic eye balm. It leaves your under eyes feeling super energized and refreshed. Less is more with this product. I just do one quick swipe under each eye, rub it in and you are good to go!
Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30
I was late to the game with the daily face sunscreen and I paid the price in my 20’s (hello sunspots). Now I wouldn’t imagine leaving the house with out some type of sunblock on my face. This daily SPF is perfect because the formula is designed to not clog your pores and give you a nice glow while protecting your skin against the harsh sun.
Blurring & Moisturizing Primer
Alright, so this is a game-changer for the non makeup days. Yes, the primer is amazing for wearing under your makeup but when you want to let your skin breathe you can use this instead of foundation and it gives you a nice blurring effect which is amazing!!
Refreshing & Brightening Face Mist
I always have a bottle of this glow spray packed in my purse or diaper bag on hot AND cold days. It’s perfect to use before you leave for the day for an extra hydrating boost and then I always reapply later in the day for a quick refresh. The formula also has blue light protection with we all need nowadays!
